the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Ms. Mulholland is
also a Certified Natural Health Professional and a graduate of the Institute
for Integrative Nutrition [in New York City] and RYT-200 with
Matkin Yoga. Jill is also a Trained Labor Doula and is currently
working toward her Birth Doula certification with DONA International.
Jill’s natural health journey began over ten years ago. While
attending SUNY Oneonta she became ill and developed a rare condition
called trophoblastic cancer. Intuitively, she knew there had to be a
reason why she was handed this challenge --- and in hindsight, it was
this life-changing experience that fostered a dedication to maintaining
an emotional, physical, and spiritual balance. Almost immediately, Jill
began to change her diet and incorporate vitamins and supplements into
her daily routine. Around this time, Jill also found a yoga class which
proved to be the missing piece of the puzzle. Her discovery of a
comprehensive and integrative approach that combined diet and exercise
with spiritual practice truly changed her life. The seeds of Hera
Wellness had been planted.
Hera Wellness is a unique, exciting innovation in health and nutrition.
As a Health Counselor, Jill has studied all the major dietary theories
and will help you discover what approach works best for you at this
point in your life.
While most dietitians concentrate on calories, carbs, fats, proteins,
restrictions and lists of good and bad foods, Jill works with her
clients to create an approach that is flexible, fun and free of denial
and discipline. Jill’s years of education and practical
application have solidified the notion that “No one diet works
for everyone.” Guided by this personalized philosophy you
will learn to identify the food and lifestyle choices that best support
you. With an emphasis on sustaining positive, healthy change, Jill will
also help you to make gradual, lifelong changes that will enable you to
reach your current and future health goals.
